Our Public Realm Strategy, "Places for People: Public Realm Strategy for Mayfair and Belgravia", prepared by Gehl Architects, sets out our strategic vision, principles and advice for improving the public realm.
The Public Realm Handbook, prepared by Building Design Partnership, translates that strategy into design reality on the ground. It has been developed in close liaison with Westminster City Council and represents our view of best practice with regard to design and public realm projects and schemes in Mayfair and Belgravia, whether these be large or small. It presents a high standard of quality for the public realm which schemes should seek to achieve as a minimum, and promotes consistency in approach to help deliver our vision.
